It’s been a while since I took the run-and-gun approach to video production. I missed my tripod. I missed my stabilizer. That said, carrying nothing but an iPhone certainly allowed me to just enjoy Sunday’s hike in the Santa Monica Mountains.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day — zero humidity, a nice cool breeze and clear skies.
At the end of the day, I decided to edit the video on my iPhone since the entire thing was shot on my iPhone. I won’t be winning any awards, but after an exhausting five hours on the trails, kicking back on the sofa sounded more appealing than hunkering down in front of my laptop.
